Urban Pearl Collective launches a one-stop shop e-commerce site for beauty and wellness
By Cassidy Holloway
As of right now, Urban Pearl Collective has 28+ brands that meet their standards and help them achieve their mission to be the go-to destination of tried and trusted, non-toxic, eco-chic, high quality products – all in one place.
As more thought is being put into what is in beauty products, more beauty pros (and their clients) are learning that there might be some not-so-great stuff in there. With sulfates and phthalates, and everything in between, it can be hard to tell what is actually good for the skin and hair, and what simply should not be used. Urban Pearl Collective serves as a hub for nontoxic, clean beauty that takes away the guesswork in whether ingredients are beneficial or not.
How have they done that? By simply raising their standards. In a press release, the brand stated that they have “set rigorous requirements in what products can be deemed non-toxic and completely clean.” As of now, Urban Pearl Collective has 28+ brands that meet their standards and help them achieve their mission to be the go-to destination of tried and trusted, non-toxic, eco-chic, high quality products—all in one place. The site also offers an educational platform with the intent to provide information and sanctuary for those looking to pursue a healthier lifestyle.
The genesis of Urban Pearl Collective started with a personal revelation had by the founder, Margurite Gray Buer. After taking a deeper look into the ingredients in her skincare and beauty products, she found that there were toxic ingredients in some of her staples. “I wanted to create a space that’s a haven for women like me who are searching for a large selection of effective skincare, makeup, and wellness and lifestyle products screened for clean ingredients and ethical manufacturing,” Buer said in the release.
So, as we enter this New Year with resolutions in tow, Urban Pearl Collective is here to help beauty pros make their clean product resolutions quick and easy by providing information on clean brands, as well as providing an educational platform to increase understanding of why they believe clean beauty works.
