As New York Fashion week begins, new beauty trends are beginning to emerge. To walk us through the latest trends is celebrity stylist, Joey George who teamed up with Keratin Complex, the leader in professional smoothing hair care, for the oh-so-stylish Duncan runway show. George gives us a sneak peek at the runway looks, showing us how to achieve the three hottest looks at home, “This season’s vibe is what I would describe as ‘New York Cool’. It is sculptural and chic.”
Here are the step-by-step instructions on how you can recreate three of the hottest trends at home!
1. WET & REFINED

- Start by prepping the hair by generously spraying Keratin Complex, Keratin Obsessed Multi-Benefit Treatment Spray.
- Next, apply Keratin Complex Strong Hold Gel from the root through mid-lengths of the hair using an applicator brush. Comb through hair from scalp out to midshafts.
- Then, add 2-3 pumps of Keratin Complex Volumizing Foam on the bottom remaining hair to activate curls.
- After, apply heat to the top section of hair and lock in sleek, flat style using the Hydra Dry Blow-Dryer with the diffuser attachment.
- Add Shine Spray for added shine and finalize the look by applying Strong Hold Gel to any flyaways
2. POLISHED HIGH KNOT

- Begin by prepping the hair using Infusion Keratin Replenisher
- Next, apply Keratin Complex Strong Hold Gel to hair and comb from scalp through midshafts.
- After, use a boar bristle brush to pull hair back, tie ponytail using string, and tying underneath the hair.
- Lastly, put a hair net around the ponytail and wrap it in a clockwise motion into a bun. Sculpt the bun into a flat wrapped knot.
3. 80s FEEL – OFF THE FACE
