You wanted them to seduce you. You let them write the rules, pull the trigger. Without knowing, where it shall take you. It was fast, fierce, and blurry. It got you to your knees, shaking, and you’ve never felt so vulnerable. Was it all worth it? It’s hard to tell. But it left you mesmerised. It left you wanting more. Erotikon.
EROTIKON was inspired by the film of the same name by Gustav Machatý. Released in 1929, it is considered the first erotic film in the world. Sensual and intoxicating, the fragrance aims to swallow the wearer in a whirwind of lust and passion.
Created by Pigmentarium’s perfumer Jakub Florian Hiermann, EROTIKON seductively tells a story of love and desire.
I tried imagining what it would be like to have a perfume with the aid of which one could seduce anybody the wearer desires. What would it smell like? How would it work?, says Jakub Hiermann.
Even though the campaign, shot by Czech Grand Design 2018 competitor Hana Knížová uses the body of a woman as a canvas for the scent, Tomáš Ric, the creative strategist behind the brand, insists that it was not designed with a specific gender or sexuality in mind.

SAVOIR-FAIRE
Czech craftsmen and small family businesses take a crucial part in the individual elements of the PIGMENTARIUM products. Incense altars are made of precious wood, incense sticks are wrapped in hand-folded paper boxes, the labeling and the assembly itself are made locally with love to details and pride.
The only exception is the incense sticks which are made in a traditional way in Sri Lanka, to ensure local production with the best craftsmen.
